YOGA. PILATES. DANCE. CHOREOGRAPHY.
My mission is to make yoga and dance empowering experiences for students of all backgrounds as a way to build community and thrive.
Hi, I’m Sinnamon!
Driven to turn students on to the joy of movement and self-discovery, I am an experienced dancer, educator, and choreographer specializing in contemporary modern technique, composition, and improvisation. I have taught movement and fitness classes in gyms, Pilates studios, and public education for the past 25 years. Classical dance, Pilates, and Yoga training are all important tools that I use to meet my students where they are and help them understand healthy alignment. Originally from Long Beach, CA, I recently relocated to Bend, OR with my husband Erick and two children, Sofia and Emerson. We love the outdoors and spend our free time enjoying all of the lakes, mountains, and bike riding that Oregon has to offer.

EVENTS
Body Work Collective: A Contemporary Dance Company for Women’s Bodies, Truths and Transitions
Founded by Kindra Windish and Sinnamon Hauser
Our Mission
Body Work Collective uses contemporary dance to create compelling, community-focused performances that articulate the female experience, with a focus on women aged 40 to 55.
Founders
Body Work Collective is a contemporary dance company founded by Kindra Windish and Sinamon Hauser. Drawing on over a decade of shared history, their work is inspired by parallel life journeys as mothers, educators, and choreographers.
The company's artistic voice grew from their rehearsals as neighbors in Southern California, where they balanced creating art with raising their children. Body Work Collective's work uses movement and authentic storytelling to question social constructs of female identity. The company seeks to reframe what it means to be an older woman in dance, valuing the nuance and wisdom of mature bodies over the pursuit of youth.
Musings on Menopause Project
The Musings on Menopause project is an evening-length dance performance that uses humor, honesty, and movement to celebrate and support women navigating the transformative experience of menopause. The project's mission is to provide a platform for open discussion and community building around a topic often silenced in previous generations. The performance will be preceded by a mini-health fair featuring community vendors and wellness experts to offer direct resources to the audience. We are seeking community partners who will help us fund the expansion of a successful initial concept into a full-scale production involving a wider community of artists and collaborators.

Classes
YOGA
I believe that alignment is important but never for aesthetic purposes—I encourage students to approach yoga with a sense of humor, move with joy, and find ease while exploring the boundaries of their physicality. Students can expect thematic playlists paired with unique sequences that build strength and flexibility and emphasize transitions between poses. I always offer modifications for poses and provide a well-rounded mind/body workout.

DANCE
My dance classes are influenced by the foundations of modern dance and contemporary practices (e.g., release technique, GAGA, Countertechnique, etc.). They’re designed to help students move dynamically with proper alignment, easily transition on and off the floor, and play with musicality,
